Birthday Fun

As parents, I think we’ll say it every year, but…I can’t believe she’s already 3! The year has flown by!!

Grandpa Steve surprised us by getting Grandma Marilyn a flight to visit us. She flew in on Thursday and was able to help us out with the preparations for Sophia’s party. Kim, Emily and Logan drove down Friday night.

Saturday afternoon Sophia had a wonderful party with all her friends and family. She had a wonderful time and I hope everyone else did too!! I’m not sure she has a favorite present, she’s played with almost everything already. In fact, she’ currently in her room playing (by herself) with her new doll house from Grandma Robin.

Kevin got her a little bike with training wheels, which she’s been riding around the house, but I’m sure she’ll have much more fun when she can ride it outside. Derek’s been riding his little radio flyer and Sophia chases him around with her bike. They both come zooming around with huge smiles on their faces. So far, no major holes in the drywall!
