With Derek’s upcoming first birthday, I’m trying to put together a photo book documenting his life so far. As he’s now standing/walking, I thought it would be great to get a good photo of him standing, to include in the book.
As with the videos, we haven’t really had many opportunities to get good shots of him walking, so Lynnette and I made it our mission to get one today.
After nearly 400 pictures, many temper-tantrums (mostly from Sophia), I finally captured a stoic image of our big boy standing:
Gotta love the “track suit” mommy put Derek in. Nothing says superstar like a Nike track suit. 
Sophia was also quite the model and I captured many shots of her. This happens to be my favorite:
She was holding a large piece of foam-core board that I used as a reflector. I really like the contrast on it.
I guess Nike track suits were the common theme today. I didn’t notice until exporting this photo, that Sophia was wearing one to.
