Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, I blame it on the Olympics!!

It’s been a busy few days. On Saturday Kevin left early and had an all day Bachelor party for “Uncle” Paul. I think they all had a pretty great time! I went to Caitlin’s Bachelorette party and realized how long it’s been since I’ve been out to the bars. I forgot that you have to pay a cover to get in. I had a really good time, we went to Trostel’s Dish, which is great food and to a Piano Bar which was very entertaining!

Derek had a fun time playing with Denise. But I think Sophia had the most fun of all. Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dick picked her up and went to a wedding. From what I heard, Sophia was the hit of the party!! I guess she showed her moves all night on the dance floor. Robin said they all had a great time and Sunday morning Sophia told me many stories about all the things they did. She even showed me some of her newest moves…I’m sure they must have done the “Chicken Dance” and some line dancing, since she seems to have some of those moves down!

Every week Derek and Sophia surprise me with something. Derek is standing for longer periods of time and can walk across the room with “beep beep”. He’s going to be walking before we know it.

Sophia’s thought process amazes me. She can tell us full stories of what she did during the day. Yesterday when I got home she told me that they went for a walk…to the park…and Lexi stole her sandwich, so she put her in time-out. Sounds simple, but last week she couldn’t put thoughts together like that!! What a big girl!
