You may have noticed Derek in the last picture with his puffy eyes and mouth open. What you probably didn’t realize was that he actually has a really bad cold. He has double ear infections and pink eye in both eyes. Of course he seemed to get sick on Saturday morning, so we weren’t able to get him to the doctors office until today. He is such a good boy, we probably wouldn’t be able to tell he was sick if he didn’t have green gunk coming out of his eyes. His poor nose is now snotted closed and he snores really loudly, but most of the time he just grins and babbles like his happy old self.
I on the other hand am not such a happy sick person. I seem to have caught some bug that is going around. It hit me while Sophia and I were shopping at the outlet mall on Saturday. She was a little angel the entire shopping trip, pointing fun things out and counting “all the shoes”. We had a lot of fun!!
I’m sure Derek and I will recover soon and hopefully no one else gets sick!!
