Friday night we had Kara and Eric and their daughter Aubrey (26 months) and our neighbors Kelly and Steve and their two girls (Maddie 15 months and Olivia 3 yrs) over for pizza and some playtime. It would be an understatement to say the girls had a blast together!! Sophia really hasn’t had a chance to play with too many kids since she stopped going to daycare, so she was a bit timid at times. All the girls are at such fun ages of learning to count, read books and sing (they were so adorable).

About an hour after supper one of the girls wanted more pizza…which meant that they all needed an extra piece. So all the girls ended up with a full slice of pizza. It was so cute to watch the girls jam full pieces of pizza into their mouths. Then they ended up laying side by side in Sophia’s bed. So we covered them with her big SpongeBob Blanket. Oh I can’t wait for little girl slumber parties!! I can just imagine the 1 am walk to her room telling the girls to stop giggling and go to bed.

Don’t worry about poor little Derek, he had a good time hanging out with the girls too. There is still hope for a playmate for him, Kelly is pregnant again and we’ve put our request in for a boy.

Saturday Sophia and I joined Kara and Aubrey for a little shopping trip. The girls walked around the store holding hands. Everyone thought they were adorable.
