Grandma Marilyn, Grandpa Steve, Auntie Kim, Emily and Logan all came down on Friday night, so we could all meet Logan. He is such a good baby…adorable and has a ton of dark hair! His big sister Emily is such a good helper, too!!
Saturday we all went down to Winterset for a late family Christmas lunch. It was Derek’s first outing being around a lot of people, so I was probably a little overprotective. Sunday Grandpa Steve and Daddy watched the kids while the girls all went shopping.
This morning was an early morning since we had to get Sophia to the surgery center at 6 am. The actual getting tubes part only took 5 minutes and Sophia did great. The hardest part of the entire thing was trying to get her shoes on afterwards. She didn’t want them on and she wanted the entire building to know it.
The whole gang was nice enough to stay around and watch Derek while we were gone, which we really appreciate. It was a great weekend and so much fun to hang out with the family!!
After work today, Sophia was like a whole new happy go-lucky girl. Coincidence…I’m not sure. What a great way to end 2007!!
