Saturday night after supper Kevin, Grandma Marilyn, Derek, Sophia and I loaded in the car and ventured down to Jolly Holiday Lights. Sophia was in awe of all the lights. She really seemed to have a great time! We might have to make that a new family tradition!

Due to all the babies this year, for the first time ever, we weren’t able to all get together for the Fassler family Christmas this year. We celebrated our part of the Fassler family Christmas this weekend with us, Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Lee. Grandma Marilyn and I worked hard Sunday morning putting the meal together, which seemed to be a hit with everyone.

Then of course after lunch came the best part, gift opening…Starring Sophia Marie. Once Sophia figured out that you need to find the seem of the wrapping paper, it was all over. She plowed through her presents, stopping for a short period of time to enjoy each of her new gifts. And when she was done with her presents, she moved onto Kevin, mine, then Derek’s presents. I think we’ve created a present opening monster!!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts. I can’t wait to get all the kids together next year. It will be so much fun having three one year old boys running the show!! We’ll look forward to it!
