Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Steve showed up Tuesday afternoon and they have been keeping us all really busy. Sophia has been showing off her new vocabulary, which has multiplied quite a bit over the last week. I think something just clicked in her head and she all of a sudden copies everything!!

Over the last few days Derek and I have been out of the house more than we have over the last couple of months. Wednesday we ran a bunch of errands, most of which Grandma and Derek hung out in the car while I ran in to pick up some things real quick. Then we braved ToyRUs (wow what a busy place) and BabiesRUs. Thursday Grandma and Grandpa watched Derek while I got a few things done on my own. Thursday afternoon, Grandma Marilyn and I went for some very relaxing massages, while Grandpa Steve and Derek hung out. And today was a FULL day of shopping at the mall. I would say in those few days, I think our Christmas shopping is all done!!

Tonight Sophia had a great time showing everyone how much energy she had. Then Daddy and Grandpa Steve found a flashlight and amazed her with some hand puppets. She should sleep well tonight!!
