Every year, my work has a Holiday party for the kids, where a certain “jolly fellow” makes an appearance. Not knowing what to expect, we decided to take Sophia to get her picture taken with Santa.
As you can see in the picture (right), Sophia didn’t quite make it to anyone’s lap, but her daddy’s. In fact, she didn’t get within ten feet of telling her Christmas wishes. Every time I tried to get close, she would arch her back and darn near jump from my arms, while yelling “NO!”
The left picture was taken November 2006, when we were visiting Grandma Marilyn and Grandpa Steve in Utah. Sophia was a bit more cooperative back then…
