Derek has left the building!
It’s hard to believe, but Derek is finally out of the hospital.
After a very crazy and busy weekend, we were able to get Derek home yesterday. Just in time too, as Lynnette’s mom flew out today.
Sophia was finally able to meet this “Derek” that mommy and daddy have been telling her about these past few weeks. She was very curious and happy to see him – she even gave him a kiss on the head last night, when she went to bed.
It’s been a long journey and we happy to be able to finally start a normal life together. Thanks to everyone, who helped us out during this interesting phase of our lives.
Oh yeah, don’t be surprise if we are germ-a-phobes these days. No entrance, without washing your hands!

Congratuations on getting sprung. Let the fun begin. Sophia you look up to the task of being the Big sister, help mommy and daddy out and be a good girl for them. Hope you all have a great first week at home. Derek you have a wonderful family, you are a lucky boy.
