Sunday was a great day for us. I finally got to take a shower…you don’t even understand how wonderful that was!! However, when I was in the shower, they took away my food tray and changed my bedding, and with those items went my cell phone. So my lifeline and long distance tool is gone. I am now just a little more cut off from the outside world.

So if you would like to call me, feel free to call me at the hospital or call Kevin for the number. Sorry, Kevin won’t let me post the number on the blog.

Anyway, after my shower, I’ve felt great. Robin and Dick showed up early afternoon with some snacks and some BK. I had some other great visitors in the afternoon. First pops in my little blonde hair blue eyed sweetheart pushing her baby in her stroller. Following behind was daddy and grandma. Later Karen and her kids showed up, then Amy with some food. Woo Hoo, something I can actually eat!

Last night was kind of hard, it’s always hard to get to sleep. I layed down around 9, then finally got some sleeping pills at 12. I slept as well as can be expected until 7:30 this morning. I think I’m learning to sleep through the blood pressure, changing of iv meds and shots.

This morning my Doctor came into visit, Dr. Casper. I was so happy he was doing rounds today, since he is the one I’ve dealt with this whole pregnancy. He verified that everything was looking great and that we just need to take one day at a time. He said that if I’m still here after I hit week 35, he would be very comfortable scheduling a c-cection that he would perform. So that is my long term goal. Very do-able I think…just one day at a time!!
