Friday night Amy, John, Quinton and Quinton’s Grandpa Dan came over Friday night for a visit. Kevin grilled us a great supper, then we got to play with the baby. Quinton is almost 3 months old and it was interesting to see Sophia’s reaction when I held him. She was very gentle and very interested. We took his socks off and she got to tickle his toes. We keep telling her she’s getting a baby in a few months, but I’m sure she has no idea what she’s in for…neither do we!!

Saturday night we got a babysitter so Kevin and I could go out for once…actually I think that might be night out #4. Sophia was really good for her babysitter! Kevin and I went to a birthday party for Paul’s finance, Caitlin. We had a really good time. Caitlin’s sister brought her play station and this game called “Guitar Hero”. I’m not one to get too into games, but this one was really fun. Fun enough that when I was napping on Sunday, Kevin went out and bought a play station and the game, and I didn’t get mad at him!

Sunday afternoon our homeowner’s association had a party in the park. They had a jazz band, inflatable jumping toys and food. Sophia was too small to jump on the inflatable toys, but she had just as much fun watching the jazz band. She even got to go check out the fire truck and ambulance. It was beautiful weather, so we all enjoyed it.

Then we ran to the grocery store, then went home to show Sophia our rock star abilities on the Guitar Hero. She seemed pretty impressed for the first 10 minutes, then got bored and went to read her books. Kevin is getting pretty good though!
