Sophia moved up to the big kid room at Baby School on Tuesday and she LOVES it!! It’s a smaller center, which is the reason we chose it, but the baby room goes from 6 wks to 18 months. Sophia has been learning so much at home the last few months, that we’ve been trying to get her moved up to the next room.

So Tuesday when we went to pick her up, she wasn’t too interested in coming home with us. They have craft time and learn shapes and colors, they sleep on a cot (which I hear she does really well on) and they sit at a tiny little big kid table for lunch and snack. It’s a huge difference!! Sophia seems much happier and is usually ready for bedtime at 9. I am so glad she finally got moved in with the big kids!!

Tonight Kevin took his girls out to celebrate. We were celebrating Sophia’s big move at Baby School and my promotion at work. I am now a Senior Financial Analyst, not a big promotion…but it’s a reason to celebrate. We went to Christopher’s, which is a nicer sit down restaurant. Sophia was such a good little girl the entire time. She even grabbed some broccoli off Kevin’s plate. I guess we might have to start eating more veggies…I think she liked it!!

Afterwards, we went over to the Casteels’ to see the babies. The girls are almost 10 months old and are getting so big. Sophia wasn’t too interested in playing with them, but they have cool toys!! She was a tired girl when we got home, so it didn’t take her long to fall asleep.
