We arranged a little play date for Sophia tonight with Aubrey (18mos), who used to live here. Since it rained all night, we couldn’t go out and play like we had planned. That meant we had to entertain the girls in the house. We quickly realized girls at this age don’t really play too well together.

At one point they were sitting almost back to back reading books by themselves. Aubrey is at the “mine” age and turns out Sophia is Jealous!! Aubrey brought me a book and tried to sit on my lap, but Sophia wouldn’t have any of that!! Mommy’s lap is hers. I guess it was even worse when Aubrey tried to sit on Daddy’s lap.

Anyway, we had a really good time. When Aubrey’s parents showed up the girls seems to play together like they were best of friends. I guess when they showed up there were more parents…less to share.

I guess Sophia will just have to learn to share her Mommy and Daddy…sooner rather than later.
