Kevin has been eying this trailer that goes on the back of his bike. Today he finally gave in and we went and bought one after work. It’s one of those enclosed trailers for Sophia to ride along in.
So while Sophia had her afternoon snack and I made supper, Kevin went outside and put the bikes and trailer together. After supper we all went on a little 2 mile bike ride. Yes, I said ALL…I went too!! We rode up to the bike trails then down to the ball fields. When we were getting back on the trail we saw 3 deer. At one point I said, “oh, this is bumpy, bumpy, bumpy…”, then I heard Sophia copying me…”bumpy, bumpy, bumpy.
About 10 minutes later Kevin told me to look in the trailer. Sophia was sleeping away. She didn’t mind the bumps at all…I think she enjoyed her bumpy little nap.
I’m not sure what Cashew thinks, I’m a bit sore in the belly region. I’ll have to ask the dr. if going from no exercise to riding bikes is alright. It’s good exercise and we all had fun!

How funny, we just bought the twins those little “tag-a-longs” to pull behind Joey and My bike (the kind where they actually pedal and have little handlebars and all) and we got Dianna a new bike, too. So we’ve been going on family bike rides together.
It’s really a lot of fun, but it does wear you out!
Maybe next summer you FOUR will have something fun to do together.
By the time the twins grow out of their tag-a-longs, your two will probably be ready for them! : )
