Friday night Kevin and I went on our second date night since Sophia was born. We had no plans, but had a babysitter all lined up. All day I kept thinking…what do we really need to do to be able to relax?

So we ended up going out for a nice relaxing steak dinner at a very quiet restaurant. Kevin’s friends kept telling him not to talk about Sophia…but what else is there to talk about? So we talked about Sophia, Cashew, decorating the house, Cashew, then Sophia again. Why not talk about the things you love the most!

I’m sure you would never guess what we did after supper. We went to Babies R Us, then to Toys R Us. Kevin wouldn’t leave Toys R Us until we found Sophia a toy. We ended up wondering the store until closing time and ended up with a See N Say, which she completely loves.

We made a quick stop to Walmart to check out a crib we saw on-line, then drove past our old house, and home by 10ish. Wow how things have changed!

The babysitter said Sophia was so tired she couldn’t keep her up past 8, which is about an hour earlier than her normal bedtime. I figured that meant we would all be up at 6 Sat morning. To our surprise, Sophia slept in until 8:30 am. She was tired!! Bring on date #3!
