It was such an exciting day…Kevin and I went in for my 20 wk ultrasound. The tech asked us if we wanted to know the gender; we of course said yes! She put the wand right down by the little parts and she asked us…”do you see what I see?” Kevin and I looked at each other and said…”It’s a girl”, then I made fun of him because he was going to be outnumbered. The tech started snickering…then a few seconds later she said…”oh, wait, oh look, oh…this is why we do a double check…It’s a boy!”

We made her do a triple check, but it looks like Sophia is going to have a little brother to dress up!! We’re so excited! Now the race is on to see who will have the first boy on my mom’s side of the family in 23 years…Kim thinks she’ll probably go a week or so over, so she thinks I’ll win that race. Karissa will find out what she’s having mid-August.

We got a ton of really great ultrasound pictures. We were able to count 10 toes and see his little profile. He weighs 13 ounces and one of his little feet measured 3.5 cm. How cute is that!!
