Happy 4th of July

We woke up Wednesday morning and made a last minute decision to go to the Urbandale parade. I was so glad we did, because Sophia had so much fun. She danced to all the bands and floats, and waved to everyone passing by. Even the firecrackers seemed to be so much fun! She was so intrigued the entire hour and a half that the parade was going on. She even had her first lollipop.

After the parade she took a 2 1/2 hour nap. Then we played with Steve, Sabrina, Abigail, Amelia and everyone else at the party. The whole day was great and seemed to pass us by in a hurry.
