There's no telling what is causing her sudden fear. Did I ever tell you about the girls being afraid of WIND? There never seems to be rhyme or reason to these things.

Anyway, a few thoughts to come to mind.

I wonder if she'd do any better in a shower? Just have Kevin hand her to you once you're in there. That might help.

It sounds like it's not just the tub that's freaking her out, it's actual water (since she was afraid of the pool too) so maybe try to introduce water other ways. Have her play in the sink with you, or help get her toothbrush wet for brushing, etc. Make water her friend.

Another thing is to not fill the tub with a lot of water, just put her in there with it empty and turn the water on and off as you need it, fill up a cup, get the wash cloth wet, rinse her up, and let it drain. Maybe it's the being submerged that's freaking her out.

I seem to vaguely remember the girls going through a water fear period, I just can't remember what I exactly did to get them over it!

Hope she gets over it soon!
