Sophia didn’t feel well at all on Monday morning, so I got to stay home with her. I felt so awful for her, she just moaned and wanted to be held. About a half hour after she got up she fell back to sleep…on me. Every time I tried to lay her down she would wake up. So at 8:30 in the morning, we took an hour nap on the couch together…she was such a sweetie.

After she woke up, I got her a little drink of water then I tried to play with her. Again, she just wanted to be held. She was like a little monkey. I didn’t even have to hold her, she latched on to my arm just fine. Anyway, so I found a comforter and spread it out on the floor and got her teddy and baby. We played for a little while, then she fell fast asleep with her butt up in the air, in the middle of the comforter. She slept for another hour.

When she woke up, she was all better. Daddy came home for lunch and our little monkey latched onto him. I’m surprised he was even able to eat any of his lunch. She cried for an hour after he left. We had fun the rest of the afternoon by dancing and reading books.

All in all it was a good day. I felt so bad that she wasn’t feeling well, but it was nice to get to cuddle with her and make her feel all better,
