The move on Saturday went much better than expected. The moving crew showed up at 8:15 and they worked their butts off. We hired 2 Men and a Truck to move the larger heavy items. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. We also had some other great helpers…Karen and Katie from my work, Paul, and my parents. We had basically everything in the new house by 2 on Saturday.

Katie, Karen and Mom unloaded the kitchen, which was a huge help. I did spend a few minutes looking for my pot holders last night, but I’m figuring out where they put everything. Mom and I went to the old house Saturday night and got a ton of cleaning done. I worked the crew pretty hard, and I hope everyone knows how much we appreciate the help!!

We said goodbye to the old house on Sunday and closed on both houses on Monday. Mom and Dad finally headed back to Utah on Monday morning. It was so nice to have them around for so long. Sophia had so much fun with them and gave them tons of hugs before they left.

Kevin took a couple of days off and got some yard work and painting done. However, he didn’t get the internet working until this morning, which was just killing him!! Good thing he has the pool table to keep him busy.

We miss the old house, but love the new one. The move has been the hardest on Lexi, who is very confused. We are still far from unpacked, but are going to take it easy for the next couple of nights.
