Sophia had her second dentist appointment today, to recheck her chipped tooth, which ended up being just fine. She threw a complete fit the entire time we were there. In her defense, it was nap time. I’m sure she scared all the kids in the waiting room with her high pitched shrills when we were trying to get the apron on her for the x-rays. It was even worse when the Dr. had his hands in her mouth. You would have thought it was the end of the world.

Anyway, the dentist didn’t have any great advise on how to get through teething. It would have been nice!! Sophia has just been a little pistol the last couple of nights. Her top two teeth next to her front teeth are coming in at the same time and it’s not going well at all. We tried to ignore her little tantrums tonight, but it was so frustrating. At one point she threw her body on the floor face first and just screamed. Kevin and I had to finally step back, take a deep breath and laugh a little. When she rolled over, there was blood streaming out her nose. Argh!!

Anyway, we brushed her teeth and tossed (not literally) her in bed. She fell asleep almost instantly…maybe she was just tired?!
