That’s about the best adjective I could think of to describe what I saw in the truck tonight…
Sophia’s had a rough day today!! This morning she had some drainage from her ear, so we had to hold her down to apply her ear drops, which didn’t make it a happy day to start out. When we picked her up from Baby School, she had two incident reports. The first was from falling into the bookshelf (the same bookshelf from the tooth incident last month), the second was falling outside and scraping her ankle. I think her balance must be off from the ear infection.
She refused to take an afternoon nap at school, so I wasn’t too surprised when she started nodding off in the truck. I was talking to Kevin about if she had a bath last night and Sophia started coughing. Just then I saw something I would rather not ever see again. At that moment I didn’t even need to read what her daycare sheet said she had for lunch…it was all over my poor sleepy baby and her car seat.
She is such a trooper, she is so happy and you would never know she’s sick. She must have the flu, since she has a few other really fun symptoms and vomited at least one other time tonight. I’ve never seen such a happy sick kid!! I hope she feels better in the morning. It’s so hard to see my baby like that!!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! i was going to call you today, but i don’t know if it is too late or not so i decided i shouldn’t. i’m almost done with my finals! i have my last two papers due tomorrow at noon. see you soon.
