I have had the most wonderful day today. Turning 30 doesn’t scare me one bit! Sophia woke up this morning all smiles and hugs and kisses. That’s the best way to start out a day. I enjoyed my cards from Kevin and Sophia, and then my favorite…french toast stix in the car.

When I got to work someone had taped 30’s all over my desk and there was a couple of cards, presents, cake, and the IHHC big-0 cane, which gets passed around to those with big 0 birthdays. I got paged overhead about 11:30 and it was Kevin in the lobby with a huge bouquet of balloons. We went out for a very nice lunch.

So many wonderful things happened throughout the day, that on the way home I made Kevin stop and get a lotto ticket. Thank you to all of you who helped me celebrate my birthday.
