Sophia had a great day on Saturday. We had some friends and family over to celebrate our Princess’ first birthday. She’s in that bashful stage, so it took a little while for her to warm up, but once she did she had such a wonderful time.

She got a bunch of clothes, books and toys. She also got a radio flyer from Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dick. She has been having so much fun playing with everything!

As for the cake, she didn’t “dig right in” like you would expect her to. I think the pretty princess cake was just too pretty and she didn’t want to mess it up.

This morning Cousin Emily and Sophia got up and hunted for Easter eggs. It was short lived since Kim and Emily had to get up early and head back to Cherokee. It was a very fun weekend!
