Kevin and I got the worst call from daycare today. Sophia was cruising along the bookshelves when she slipped and fell. She just happened to fall smack on her mouth and chipped one of her top two teeth. It is a pretty jagged chip from one corner up to the other.

Kevin frantically got in touch with me, then I hurried to the daycare to check on her. She was doing just fine and just wanted to eat her lunch. I called the Pediatrician, who told me to call the dentist. I guess most dentists’ offices in Des Moines are closed on Good Friday. So we finally got ahold of him at home. Turns out there is nothing we can do right now. They are going to try to get her in early next week for x-ray’s and to see what they can do.

I guess she’ll just have to have a little snaggletooth for her party tomorrow. I think it bothers me more than it bothers her, especially when she nurses!!
