Kevin has been working so hard on putting the final finishing touches on the guest bathroom. This afternoon he finally called it DONE after he installed the last wall tile and then the toilet.

A couple hours after he had it complete, I decided to use the toilet for the first time. Since that seems to be my best thinking spot, I came up with the best April Fool’s joke I’ve ever played. So I flushed the toilet and yelled “honey, there’s water coming out from everywhere!” Kevin ran up the stairs faster than I’d ever seen him run with the most concerned look on his face yelling “turn the water off”!

I felt so awful and mean, but couldn’t help but burst out in laughter. He stared at me with an awful look, then I finally pulled it together to say “April Fools”! I think he was more mad that I’ve pulled off the best April Fools joke to date.
