At what age will she be able to tell me what’s wrong or what hurts? Boy was I way off the mark the other night. Tuesday night she was soo fussy all night. Every time she would get to really screaming she would toot. She was so gassy all night. We just thought we’d started her on too many big people foods to fast. To make a long story short, Kevin stayed up until 1 am, then I got the 1 am until 4:30 am shift. Around 3:30, she stopped fussing and was perfectly fine. She watched her favorite TV show “Boohbah” for an hour and fell asleep in her swing.

The next morning she was perfectly fine. However, when I got home from work that night I noticed some major drainage from her ear. Why can’t I recognize an ear infection until after it’s ruptured?? I feel like such a bad mommy!! You’d think after 3 ear infections, I’d be able to spot an infection right away.

I can’t wait until she can tell me what hurts!!
