Well the end of 2006 seemed to get away from us a little bit. It seemed things have been so busy, I haven’t even been able to check my email, let alone blog.
The weekend before Christmas, we went to Cherokee and had a wonderful (busy) two days with my family. We were able to make it back Sunday night so that Sophia could wake up Christmas morning in her own bed. Later that day Grandma Robin and Grandpa Dick came over for presents and food. By the end of Christmas Day, Sophia was a pro at opening gifts. She got so many clothes and toys we didn’t know what to do with everything!!
Tuesday after work we had dinner with Shane, Lulu and their newest arrival Shae and Steve and Sabrina and their two new princesses Amelia and Abigail. Sophia was the oldest baby there and strutted around like a big girl.
Wednesday night Grandpa Steve, Grandma Marilyn and Karissa showed up to hang out for a few days. Thursday I took off work to go shopping with girls, however, Sophia woke up with drainage from her ear. So we spent half the morning at the doctors office and pharmacy to fix those nasty ear infections (which never got cleared up from the last time). Since I wasn’t feeling very well I sent Mom and Karissa shopping while Dad, Sophia and I all took naps.
Finally, for New Years Eve we went to Kara and Eric’s where Sophia got some more playtime in with Aubrey. We had a great night, even though Sophia was so happy to welcome the new year that she played from 1 am until 3ish.
