It was only a matter of time, before Sophia found her way to the dog food dish. Today seemed to be it.
As some of you may know, Sophia is pretty active these days and is actively crawling around the house (and even pulling herself up on things - scary I know). So, this morning Lynnette was doing some things in the kitchen and had Sophia on the floor. At this time, I was upstairs getting ready to leave the house.
A few minutes later, Lynnette came storming upstairs in disgust. Turns out our little miss, found the dog food and had a few pieces in her mouth, as well as her hands. Lynnette kept commenting on how she had “doggy breath”.
Oh yeah, we’re currently dealing with a double ear infection, and Sophia’s first tooth. Fortunately, she seems to be handling everything in stride, but what else could we expect from our little angel. I still can’t believe how much she has changed these past few weeks…

At least it wasn’t a friggin’ dead bug. I swear, I don’t even want to KNOW the number of bugs the twins picked up and put in their mouthes when they started crawling. Especially during box elder and beetle (lady bug) season. I wonder how many they actually got DOWN before I caught them???
Hey, they got a lot of Protein right???
At least that’s what I tell myself so that I’m able to sleep at night…
