You know that people don't pay any attention when they are looking. Plus, even though YOUR baby is the cutest little girl in the WORLD, little kids with short hair pretty much elicit the same response. Especially from old men. I have no idea why. One time, when Di was 2, she still had hardly any hair, BUT she had her ears pierced, wearing a PINK AND WHITE lacy dress with white patent leather shoes, and this old man patted her on the head and said "Hey there little feller..." His wife punched him in the arm and said, "George, the kid is wearing a pink dress and has little earrings, it's a GIRL!" He mumbled, "Well, you never know these days...." and they walked away. People just don't pay attention. Oh come on. You know that people don’t pay any attention when they are looking.
