Do people seriously think that little boys wear head-to-toe pink?? Does Sophia really look that much like a little boy?? Obviously people do not think at all when they see a baby…when a baby is wearing pink, you’d be safe to say the baby is a girl! However, blue does not always mean boy. Whenever we dress Sophia in blue, we make sure she is wearing pink socks or has a pink blanket. How could anyone ever mistake that adorable little girl for a boy??

I’ve heard your comment a lot from people with babies. I just don’t think people pay attention.
Oh come on. You know that people don’t pay any attention when they are looking. Plus, even though YOUR baby is the cutest little girl in the WORLD, little kids with short hair pretty much elicit the same response. Especially from old men. I have no idea why.
One time, when Di was 2, she still had hardly any hair, BUT she had her ears pierced, wearing a PINK AND WHITE lacy dress with white patent leather shoes, and this old man patted her on the head and said “Hey there little feller…”
His wife punched him in the arm and said, “George, the kid is wearing a pink dress and has little earrings, it’s a GIRL!” He mumbled, “Well, you never know these days….” and they walked away.
People just don’t pay attention.
Some times it is just easy to say he or him, That way people are right half the time.
But we know Sophai ia all GIRL……………
