Sophia and I were a bit adventurous this weekend, we drove to Cherokee all by ourselves. We left Kevin home to relax with the dogs (and work on the basement). We had a total of 6 hours in the car (3 each way) and I think we timed it pretty well. Sophia slept for 4.75 hours, played for 1 hour and screamed for about 20 minutes. Obviously the 20 minutes she screamed was not fun. We were 20 miles south of Cherokee and she was bored and had just had enough alone time.

Sophia had such a great time playing with her cousin Emily. They played so hard, she slept for 11 hours both nights. The girls modeled their halloween outfits and even took a bath together. Two peas in a pod! Hopefully Kim will send some pictures so I can get one posted.

This afternoon we threw a shower for the newest member of the Fassler (Rupp) family . Little Blaine (Sophia’s second cousin) is two weeks old is such a little cutie!!

All in all it was a great trip and will probably have to wait until Christmas to see everyone again.
