					<description>Thanks for all the great info Steph!!  I appreciate the reply!!  We've been really good and haven't missed a dose yet!!  It seems she is feeling quite a bit better already, but still tugging a little at her ear when she gets really tired.</description>

My advice to anyone with a young child.  MAKE SURE you are diligent with the antibiotics.  I, unfortunately, missed doses and things when Dianna was little, and I still, to this day, think that contributed to her having to get tubes in her ears.  I feel like I didn't do things right, during those VERY FIRST ear infections and then her body became immune to the medicine.  With the twins, things have been much better.

Interestingly, they seem to be very close to a vaccine for ear infections.  Check this out:
