Sorry it’s been so long since we’ve posted, Sophia keeps us really busy. I thought I would give you a quick update of all the wonderful things that she’s been doing.
Food We’ve started giving her cereal, they are giving her a little each day at daycare. She doesn’t seem to mind it either way.
Friends She loves day care and all the other babies. She is really pooped by 8 pm. We have to try really hard to keep her awake until after 9. If she falls asleep any earlier than that, then she doesn’t tend to sleep through the night.
Toys She loves to play in her exersaucer. It’s amazing how interactive she has gotten with all the little toys on her exersaucer.
Mine! She grabs everything!! Glasses, shirts, toes, fingers, anything that she can reach.
Doggies!! She gets so excited and shakes her arms with glee when she sees the doggies, every now and again she will break out in laughter when watching them. I think Rory is quite fond of her.
Hold on tight!! If you don’t hold her close she’ll wiggle her way right out of your arms.
It’s so amazing how much she’s changed over the last few months. It’s even more amazing to think she’s almost 6 months old. I never thought time could fly by so fast.

Thanks for the update, babies change every day and and it is hard to capture every minute.
It REALLY DOES fly by. It’s so great that you’re keeping this journal, because before you know it she’ll be crawling and walking and then blink and she’ll be going to pre-school and then WHAM it’s school dances and cell phones and makeup…and…it never ceases to amaze you how fast it all goes.
The most wonderful thing is that every single new thing that happens; every phase they go through, is even better than the one before (well, I could have done without the biting phase, I guess).
Sophia is doing so great! She’s very lucky to have the two of you as parents!
