We got up early on Saturday, in order to make it to Kevin’s cousin Julie’s wedding in Austin MN (3 hour trip) by 11 am. We were up about 5:30 and made it out of the house a little after 7. The trip up there was a piece of cake and we got up there with plenty of time to spare.

Around 10:50 Sophia got hungry, so I had to take her in the other room to feed her. She took her time, so we didn’t get back into the church until about 11:10. Turns out it was the shortest Catholic wedding ever, we missed most of the ceremony. Sophia was a perfect angel the entire time we were there. Grandma Robin paraded Sophia around to show her off to everyone. We had a number of people comment on how good she was.

We ended up leaving Austin a little after 2. Sophia chowed down 6 ounces of milk right away, then took a little nap. About an hour before we got to Des Moines, she got hungry again and we didn’t have any more warm milk. As we were debating on pulling over to figure something out, I thought I would try to see if she would take the ice cold milk from the cooler. She didn’t like it, but she muscled through about 4 ounces of cold milk. She would take a couple of sucks, let out a big scream, then suck some more. See, it’s not so bad!!
