I get so tired of calling customer service lines, only to be stuck barking out silly commands, especially when you know only an actual person would be able to help.
We tried to call the maternity ward at the hospital just the other day; of course we were greeted with a voice activated menu system. When you say “Maternity Center”, it does not mean “I heard you say go back.” Darn it!
Hmmm, voice activated menus. One of my LEAST favorite things to deal with.
Have you noticed how they stopped letting you bypass these things by just pressing zero too? I mean, used to, as soon as someone started talking then you could just press zero and get to a human. Now, it just says “I’m sorry. That command is not recognized.”
Damn the man.
