Lexi’s Sympathy Weight Gain

Turns out Kevin isn’t the only one with a little sympathy weight gain!

We’ve always found it amazing that Lexi, who is a 50 pound dog, can somehow flatten out her body and heave herself under our bed. We got a new bed frame a few months back, which only gives her 6 inches from the floor to the edge of the bed frame to sneak under. It hasn’t ever stopped her from escaping to her own palace of socks, caps and misc. stolen items.

The other night, we were laying in bed when we heard a little whine from under the bed. A few minutes later, we heard the whine again. Turns out Lexi somehow got herself stuck toward the middle of the bed (underneath). After we finally got her unstuck, we had to chuckle at her little mishap. So did she just position herself wrong or is she putting on a little sympathy weight to fit in with the rest of the family??

You forgot to mention that it wasn’t even ten minutes and she headed back under the bed. On the other side of course. :)

    Silly dog.
