How I spent last weekend
As you can see in the photo below, we (I) radically changed the look of our bedroom last weekend (see No Wallpaper Borders – Ever!. Granted we don’t exactly have any wall decorations and I still need to do the windows, I think it looks pretty snazzy.
This was our last remodel project upstairs, prior to completing Peanut’s room – which is part of my plans for next weekend. At least this is no wallpaper border to deal with…

Note: that is the new bed spread we picked out on last Wednesday. All of our previous stuff was green – to match the green walls. This was a cost I sort of neglected to think about, replacing all the decorative stuff. Whoopsie.
It was a pretty good bargin: we picked it up at Kohl’s for around $65. Which is fantastic for a king-size bed-in-a-bag.

The way you guys are moving, the entire upstairs is going to be re-done by the time Peanut gets here!
No kidding.
Lynnette told me that once I get the upstairs done (including Peanut’s room), I’m free to move on to the basement. Isn’t that swell?
Maybe you ought to stretch out this “upstairs remodeling” thing until after Peanut comes then. That should get you out of doing the basement for a few months….
