I received a call from Kevin around 12:30 this afternoon. I could hear the excitement in his voice. Like a little kid he asked me “Do you know what I just did”. It hadn’t occurred to me that the crib parts would come in in less than 24 hours. Sure enough, he received the package this morning and spent his lunch hour finishing his almost impossible 3-week task.
I got home around 8 pm and as soon as I walked in the door, he walks over to me with a grin on his face. He told me I needed to go check out Peanut’s nursery. So he covered my eyes and took me into her room. In addition to putting the crib together, he had put all the bedding in the crib and decorated it with her stuffed animals. It was so cute, he’s such a proud daddy!
Now we know everything still needs to be washed, but for now at least I can go in there and see a half complete nursery. All thanks to my darling husband!!
