We had our first appointment with the new doctors office today. Dr. Burke was really great!! He answered all my silly little questions as if each one was legit. Too bad he’s retiring at the end of December!! Well at least I know ahead of time so I don’t get to attached.
Anyway, Peanut is still doing good!! Her heartrate was in the 140s (he didn’t say the exact beats per minute). When Dr. Burke put the doppler on my belly to hear the heartbeat it must have disturbed Peanut, because about a minute into it we heard a quick crackle through the machine, which was a pretty heavy kick to my belly. Man, she already has her momma’s attitude about people crowding her space.

A positive from our appointment is we really need to get cracking setting up some of the delivery aspects, such as pre-registering and signing up for classes. We’ve had a book from the hospital that had the forms in it, but have yet to even look. A gentle reminder I guess.
No comment on the attitude part..
