Shopping

Karissa and Mom came up this last weekend to do some shopping. My initial intent was to get my Christmas shopping list all ready, so we could get all my Christmas shopping done. No procrastinating this year. Well, the list didn’t get done. So we had to change our plans completely and just shop for Peanut. We went to Baby Depot at Burlington Coat Factory and got a 15 minute instructional lesson on the safety of the stroller travel system. We felt bad leaving without buying anything, since the guy was so helpful, but I couldn’t buy anything without Kevin’s input.

We looked all over for a cute outfit that said “Daddy’s Little Girl” or “Daddy’s Little Angel”. We found one outfit and one bib, which Mom bought for us. I’ll have to keep my eyes open, we don’t want Kevin to feel left out. All the little outfits say “mommy” this and “mommy” that. Poor Daddy!!

We shopped all day Saturday and Sunday morning. I didn’t get any Christmas shopping done and really didn’t spend any money at all, except of course on Karissa’s birthday present. She’ll be 21 tomorrow….scarey!!!

I joined in the fun, by riding along to Baby’s-R-Us late Saturday night. I swear we circled the place five times and ended up leaving only with a few outfits.

They surprised me with the “Daddy’s Little Girl” outfit when we got home. It was very sweet.

Happy birthday Karissa. Welcome to the last great milestone of your youth! It’s all downhill from now on… :)

Great news Ginnia called me today and informed me that they will be moving to Des Moines this weekend and will be close to you guys. YAY I?ll have friends this summer!
