Friday afternoon Nurse Linda from my ObGYN’s office called. I was surprised to hear her voice, since my last appt was 3 weeks ago and my next wasn?t until next Friday. She had disappointment in her voice and the next words she said was, ?I?m sorry to have to tell you this?? My first thoughts were, no this can?t be about me, I?m not waiting for any test results. Then she told me that Dr. Ross had accepted a position in Montana and would be leaving in December. Her plans were to transition all her patients over the next two months. My eyes welled up with tears. We?ve been through a lot over the last few years and I was looking forward to her being the one to deliver Peanut.

Nurse Linda said to come in at my next scheduled appt this coming Friday and she would still schedule my ultrasound. I asked her where she planned to go and she said she wasn?t sure. But I?m sure she?ll give me her phone number so we can stay in touch.

First my parents decide to move to Utah, then my Dr. moves to Montana. I know it doesn?t quite compare, but it must be the hormones that made me cry.
