Note to self…

Never, under any circumstances, tell your pregnant wife: “Well, I guess I love Lexi more than you”. Lexi is our oldest dog and of course when you read my statement, to word DUH comes to mind.

In my defense, I in no way meant to say my love was greater for our dog, than my wife. What I was trying to imply was that I loved Lexi, more than Lynnette loved Lexi. It certainly wasn’t understood that way, at least initially.

Needless to say, I was in the “doghouse” for a short while last night.
