It’s pretty funny listening to everyone’s theories on whether Peanut is a boy a girl. From what I hear, if you have morning sickness and are continuously crabby, you?re having a girl. I?ve heard the reason behind this has to do with high levels of estrogen?so I?ve heard. When I tell people I?m hungry all the time, they say, ?Oh, it has to be a boy?. When I tell them I?m showing already…again they say it?s a boy. No cravings, smell or food aversions must also mean boy. My neighbor across the street did a swinging pencil test that she claimed ?is never wrong?. Again?the result was boy. Also, if we have a girl, we will get tons of baby clothes from my sister and friend Karen. And the baby?s room is purple, so it?s perfect for a girl. However, as Peanut had us working so hard to conceive him or her, I?m sure he/she will have us working to prepare for that special day in April. So buying new paint for the room and all new clothes is inevitable. Either way, we really don?t care if Peanut is a boy or girl, but I sure get a kick out of everyone?s theories. The funny thing is I?ve only heard one person say ?that means it?s a girl?.
One quick thing I have to add?Kevin keeps bringing me the doll that my mom sent home with us last weekend and says, ?honey this is going to come out of there!!!? He?s such a supportive husband!!!
She knows I’m just kidding about the doll. Based on it’s size, I would estimate at about 15-20 lbs. That would be a record setting baby.
Boy were we wrong on this one. Our precious package is indeed a baby girl, with a 99% degree of accuracy of course…
