Switched to a new domain and blogging tool

Howdy, I’m switching hillabolt.com to a new domain “blog.hillabolt.com”, as well as implementing WordPress. The blogger posting functionality just seemed to never work quite right for me; the FTP functionality has been problematic at best. Now I control virtually all aspects of the system.

Here’s to another system.

Please let me know if anything turns out goofy. The WordPress system is a bit more elaborate that blogger was… :)

Congratulations on making the switch. Wordpress can be a bit of a handful but I’ve found that it’s owerful features more than make up for it’s occasional temper tanturms.

The first three links on this search, Wordpress plugins have been very valuable for me.
I also refer to the Wordpress Codex for questions about odd features I’m not familiar with.

Good luck and feel free to drop me a line if you need some help.

Thanks Bryan, So far everything is working really well with WordPress.

I have spent a great deal of time working out the kinks, implementing several plugins, as well as a custom theme (see footer for linkage), that has customizations of my own.

My wife was a little skeptical at first, considering how easy it is to post with Blogger, but after a short how-to, I think she has it down (although, spell check would be nice).
